Yoni De-armouring

Sexual/Birth Trauma Release Bodywork

Sexual/ Birth trauma release therapy, bodywork and cervical awakening. Focus on deepening your sexual connection with yourself. Releasing blocks around intimacy.

(also known as Yoni healing / Yoni de-armouring)

Yoni is a sanskrit word that refers to a women’s reproductive organs - her womb and vagina and vulva, all of this sacred part of a women’s anatomy, it is not just a word to name the parts of the body, using this word also emits an understanding of the power of this space that is the source of all life.

For women, their yoni can be like an emotional sponge, emotions that may not have been given the time they need to be felt and processed may be stored long term in this area. Any emotional trauma, and specifically sexual trauma, that has been stored in this area of a woman’s body, needs space and holding- to be acknowledged, allowed, felt in a deeply safe and nurturing way, to help to move through and move on from, so patterns of behaviour can change.

There may be subtle or obvious sexual abuse, or challenges with speaking out what we don’t want. Not being seen, Not being heard.

Trauma can be so normalised for women in relation to sexuality. Women have been oppressed in so many ways.

We may be holding life times of trauma from those who came before us.

The capacity to experience Bliss and Ecstasy through our sexual centre is in every woman.

The ability to feel pleasure, live in pleasure, and be in constant connection with all of ourselves is in you.

Maybe you are experiencing some challenges connecting with yourself and/or others intimately. Maybe you feel dissociated from your body, experience numbness, and are unable to experience pleasure. Maybe its painful to be intimate. Maybe you have trauma from a birth experience or sexual abuse and don’t want to be sexual. Maybe you just know you could be experiencing more and your curious.

Family Constellations

Family constellations is a very powerful therapeutic practise. Amazing at clearing any blocks affecting you being in your full potential in all areas of your life.

This therapy comes from Bert Hillnger.

We connect to the greater field surrounding you. We call in whatever energies are related to your situation and connect, feel and move through, shifting the constellation.

The practise can be related to outer beings in your life, or just parts of yourself that are in conflict and need resolution.

Often family members come in as these relationships have provided a foundation in your life.

I have found this work to be particularly potent when looking at intimate relationships, clearing ancestral wounds and bringing unconscious programming into the conscious.

Relational Life Therapy. Couples and Individuals

This is a therapy I am currently training in and is already fully impacting how I work with people individually. It is teaching me an incredible formula to use to understand the many conflict combinations which occur in couples. Based in neurobiology, using simple inner child trauma work it can bring deep insight and transformation. Couples see through the behaviours that are founded in trauma and are able to help each other move into making new choices about how to relate. Each person becomes more empathic, more connected, and intimacy grows. This means couples can learn skills of how to relate in a new way and come more into joy with each other and deepen not just their love but their depth of connection with themselves and their needs, their life, their intentions.

I am currently looking for couples to work with at low cost while I am training. If this is you please contact me to find out more.

Somatic journeying

Snow-covered mountains surrounding a calm lake that reflects the mountains and cloudy sky.

Somatic work is all about dropping down into the body. We notice and follow sensations. We get connected with these sensations through noticing texture, colours, memories, associations.

We can use imagery to get very in touch with whats being stored on many layers inside our body.

We can call upon the breath and resourced spaces accessable in our bodies to support and move stuck energy, negative emotions, numbness and disconnected parts of ourselves.

We can journey with ourselves to heal what needs to be healed and gain deeper connection and insght.

We can continue to call upon these journeys to deepen our healing, for self connection, open our hearts and clear trauma.

I am also trained in somatic EMDR if this is a particular practise you’d like to explore.

Re-parenting

Re-parenting is an extremely powerful tool, similar to ‘inner child work’ where we reframe your experiences and provide the support you didn’t receive when you needed it at another time in your life (usually during childhood).

We would go into a memory together, and I would guide you through shifting the story. We feel all the feelings initially present and associated with that memory and then reframe embodying the experience of expressing your emotions, asking for what you need, and receiving what you need, from your adult self.

Once experienced this tool can be used many many times in various ways through held intention and visualisation. It creates a deeper connection between the various parts of you, maybe many that haven’t got to be seen before. Often coming with much insight and deep releases, I witness many times a sense of relief and freedom from the many coping strategies that are at play when we have not received what we need.
